Shirt of the Week - The Iconic Boca Juniors 2004/05 Retro Shirt

If you're a football fan, you've likely heard of Boca Juniors - one of the most successful and popular clubs in South America. The Buenos Aires-based club is known for its passionate fanbase, its iconic blue and yellow kit, and its ability to produce world-class players through its youth academy.

One such example is Carlos Tevez, who won the Premier League twice with Manchester United and Manchester City. Ever Banega, who has played for clubs such as Valencia, Sevilla and Inter Milan, is another notable product of Boca Juniors' academy. The club's current alumni also includes Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.

The retro shirt that's been chosen as our shirt of the week is from the 2004/05 season. While that season may not have been a successful one for Boca Juniors, the shirt itself is a classic design. Featuring the club's iconic blue and yellow colours and manufactured by Nike, it also features Pepsi as its sponsor, which adds to the retro appeal.

La Bombonera, Boca Juniors' stadium, is known for its intense atmosphere and passionate fans. If you're lucky enough to attend a game, you'll witness thousands of flags, pyrotechnics and 90 minutes of non-stop singing from the club's supporters.

At Mystery Retro Shirts, we're excited to include this classic Boca Juniors shirt in all sizes in our upcoming Retro Football Shirt Boxes. Don't miss your chance to receive this piece of footballing history in your box!
