Transfer Buzz: Liverpool's Mac Allister Capture, Newcastle's Maddison Pursuit, and Arsenal's Race for Rice

Welcome to another exciting edition of "Kitted Out," where we bring you the latest transfer news from the world of football. In this edition, we dive into the transfer buzz surrounding some top Premier League clubs. Liverpool has made a significant signing, Newcastle is looking to bolster their midfield, and Arsenal is in pursuit of a talented player. Let's jump right into the action!

Liverpool's Midfield Boost with Alexis Mac Allister

Liverpool completed the transfer of midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton. The World Cup winner joins the reds after an impressive campaign on the south coast with 10 goals and also won the World Cup with Argentina last December. Fabrizio Romano reported that the fee for Mac Allister is around £35m, almost £20m less than was reported from other news outlets. The reason why Alexis left for so cheap was because there was a release clause in his contract.

Liverpool are delighted to have signed the Argentine, as they are looking for a midfield overhaul after midfielders James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all left on a free transfer this month. The reds are not stopping there, as they have been touted with possible moves for Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram, Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone and James Ward Prowse. Who do you think Liverpool will sign next?

Newcastle's Pursuit of James Maddison

According to Sky Sports, Newcastle are set to beat Spurs to the signing of midfield James Maddison from Leicester. Maddison is certain to leave the midlands club this summer after they were relegated to the Championship. Leicester will need to cash in on the Englishman so they can start their rebuild and hopefully bounce back up to the Premier League. The reported fee would be between £40m and £50m. Despite being relegated, James Maddison had an incredible season at the Foxes, scoring 10 goals and registering a number of assists. The signing of Maddison would hugely boost Newcastle’s midfield ranks as they are set to compete in the Champions League next season. It is not a done deal yet, but Newcastle are in advance negotiations for James.

Arsenal's Pursuit of Declan Rice

Arsenal are currently leading the race to sign West Ham’s Declan Rice. Negotiations will being this week with the East London club, as Declan was fully focused on the Europa Conference League Final, where West Ham scored in the last minute to secure their first European title. Numerous news outlets report that Bayern Munich are also in the race for £90m rated Rice, with Thomas Tuchel rating the Englishman from his time at Chelsea. However, it is more likely that Declan Rice will sign for Arsenal as the midfielder wishes to stay in the Premier League and the Gunners’ training ground and stadium are just a short trip across London. West Ham will reportedly demand £90m and several millions in add on fees for their star man.

As the transfer window heats up, these potential moves have ignited excitement among fans and pundits alike. Liverpool's acquisition of Alexis Mac Allister could reshape their midfield, Newcastle's pursuit of James Maddison could bring a creative force to their Champions League campaign, and Arsenal's race for Declan Rice promises to bolster their ranks.
